| After raising three sons, Janys began a career as an art and literary agent for a group of painters, known as the Classic Realists. The Classic Realist school of art is the oldest tradition in existence today, tracing their roots to Michelangelo. As agent, Janys directed art exhibitions for her group, in Dallas and Houston. She also worked as creator and agent for Realism in Revolution: The Art of the Boston School, a book that was published and marketed by Taylor Publishing. |

A few years ago, Janys sculpted 54 miniature figures for scenes that were purchased by the Miniature Museum of Taiwan. These figures were for the new children's section, and include Alice in Wonderland, Gulliver's Travels, Snow White, Cinderella, and Jack and the Beanstalk. Later, this article appeared in Miniature Collector Magazine. |
